The Cherokee Plantation Foundation is being formed to preserve, restore and manage the historic property and heritage of Cherokee Plantation and educate the public as to its historical, cultural and architectural significance.

The establishment of the Cherokee Plantation Foundation in 2018 insures its continued commitment to this important property for future generations. The Foundation is managed by a board led by Theodosia Murphy Nolan’s grandchildren with the purpose of overseeing operations of this historic property and ensuring the Foundation mission is realized.
